Amy Lee Haggard Whitlock

Mrs. Amy Lee Haggard Whitlock, age 56 of Centre, passed away on June 11, 2026, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Haggard officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter, Colbi Whitlock Jackson (Brady); a blessed grandchild on the way; siblings, Darlene Rieger (Gerald), Lynn Nelson (Archie), Ray Haggard (Jennifer), and Mickey Haggard; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Rieger, Jeremy Rieger (Hannah), Josh Jenkins, Christian Nelson, Tammy Slayton and Tommy Slayton; and great-nieces, Lylli Rieger, Paisley Rieger, Marleigh Rieger and Kinsley Jenkins.

Amy was born January 11, 1970, in Cherokee County, Alabama. She had a love for the beach, dolphins, gnomes, Winnie the Pooh, and the Georgia Bulldogs. Amy was a member of Grace Pointe Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Whitlock; parents, Robert Edgar Haggard and Audrey Lee Slayton Haggard; and her half-brother, Harold Slayton (Cellie).
