Bernice Gresham

Mrs. Bernice Gresham, age 89 of Centre, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Cherokee Memory Gardens.

She is survived by her loving family; her son, Steve Gresham (Michelle); her precious grandchildren, Lyndsey Gresham and Kelsey Gresham; great grandchildren, Ryder Phillips and Colt Haney; chosen great-great grandson, Kingston McDaniel; brother, Darrell Weaver (Wanda); nephews and nieces, Tim Weaver (Linda), Kevin Weaver (Rosa), Timmy Weaver, Jeffrey Weaver, Michael Weaver, Tammy Gilley and Gary Gullatt; several great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Barbara and Jerry Cunningham.

Bernice was a Centre native and of the Holiness faith. She worked for Dixie Green for 21 years. Before losing her sight, her greatest joy was seeing the flowers in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Doyce Gresham; her parents, Fred Weaver and Lilly Mae Weaver; brother, Jimmy Weaver; and sister, Judy Weaver.
