Billy Almond

Mr. Billy Ray Almond, age 74 of Centre, passed away on October 15, 2025, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Pollard officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Almond; daughter, Dorothy Jean Almond; son, Dale Ray Almond; adopted sons, Barry Hazelwood, Dillan Croy and Mark Thompson; brother, Michael Almond; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and special friends, Johnna McDowell, Janet Woods, Tina Hawthorne, Ronnie Traffenstedt, Harold Parker and Danny Parker.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Almond; mother, Dorothy Hayes Almond; brothers, Bobby Almond and Jerry Almond.
