Brian Douglas Black

Mr. Brian Douglas Black, age 48 of Centre, passed away on February 10, 2026, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dutton officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

He is survived by his son, Dakota Black (Tabetha); daughter, Selena Gamez (Matthew); sisters, Rhonda McGee and Pamela Roberts (Derek); brother-in-law, David Dutton; and several nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Katherine Black; and sisters, Shelia Dutton and Sandra Black.

The family will be accepting flowers, but request that only houseplants be sent. They may be purchased conveniently on our online store, or at any local florist.
