Ms. Brittany Michelle Hunt, age 36 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on August 18, 2026, at her residence. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Heath Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her mother, Wanda McDaniel and step-father, Carl; brother, Rev. Heath Wells (Crystal); life partner, Devon Reed; step brother, Steven (Wendy) McDaniel; step sister, Christy (Nick) Klaver; grandmother, Louise Casstevens; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her fur babies, Dutchess and Smokey.

Pallbearers will be Devon Reed, Nathaniel Wells, Hud Abernathy, Todd Abernathy, Roy Latty, Bubba Johnson, and Deric Guice.

Brittany enjoyed shopping and playing video games. When she wasn't doing that, she enjoyed watching scary movies, especially around Halloween.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Hunt; grandmother, Mary Norton; and grandfather, Paul Hunt.

The family will be accepting flowers, which may be conveniently purchased on our online store, or at any local florist.
