Mr. Charles Ricky Helms, age 74 of Centre, passed away on January 15, 2026, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, January 18th, 2025 at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Bro. Jackie Hale officiating. 

Survivors inlcude his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Lambert Helms; Daughter, Bridgett (Matt) Harris; Grandchildren, Elizabeth and Johnathan Harris; Brother, Johnny (Judy) Helms; Sister, Kay Cain; Uncle, Lloyd Helms; Several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Pallbearers inlclude Jesse Hale, Cody Ward, Dusty Ward, Johnathan Harris, Trent Dixon, Eric Helms, and Seth Helms. 

Mr. Helms was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Harold and Evelyn Jordan Helms. He enjoyed the outdoors, and hunting and fishing. 

The family respectfully requests no flowers, donations maybe made to the charity of your choice in Ricky's honor.
