Mrs. Crystal Marie Patterson, age 38 of Gadsden, passed away on May 10, 2026, at her residence. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, May 13th at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Blake Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on Tabor Road. Family will be receiving friends from 1 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home. In honor of Crystal's life, her children request for those attending her services to wear bright colors, such as pink or purple. 

She is survived by her daughters, Kailee and Jalyn Patterson; father, Larry (Pam) Vernon; grandmother, Ruby Bobo; sister, Traci (Billy Wayne) Clanton; brothers, Chris (Tammy) Frost, Clint (Stephanie) Vernon, Jeff (Melissa) Vernon; special nieces, Maddie Clanton, Molly, Mallory, and Maggie Frost; special cousins, Carla (Stevie) West, Bryant West, Krislyn Green, Shelby, Camren, Sadie, and Jakob Young, Scotlyn and Emma Vernon, Mackenzie Colvin, and Brian Bobo; the father of her children, Bubba Patterson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Pallbearers are Chris Frost, Billy Wayne Clanton, Clint Vernon, Camren Vernon, Brian Bobo, Stevie West, Bryant West, and Bubba Patterson. 

Crystal was a loved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend who will be remembered for her loving heart and radiant personality. She will be deeply missed. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Annette Bobo; grandfather, J.W. Bobo; grandparents, Bernice and Jefferson Lewis Vernon; special cousin, Amy Bobo.

In lieu of flowers, her family respectfully requests that donations be made directly to the funeral home to help cover funeral costs.
