Deborah Elliott Medley

Mrs. Deborah Elliott Medley, age 70 of Leesburg, passed away on July 5, 2026. In lieu of a service or memorial, Deborah requested to be remembered for who she was and what she meant to those who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Medley; son, Thomas Kennedy (Eden); mother, Elizabeth Turner Justo; sister, Rebecca Caperton (Chris); brothers, Scott Evans, Johnny Evans, Tony Evans (Kim), and Joey Evans (Tina); step-children, Cathy, Jim, Cheryl and Lisa; beloved grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Deborah was born July 17, 1955, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was married on April 17, 2003, to Allen Medley. She taught 4th and 5th grade and was a literacy coach at Baker School in Baker, Florida, for eleven years. Deborah accepted Christ at the age of ten years old and had a deep, abiding faith.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Kennedy; and step-daughter, Debbie Lynn Palmer.
