Dorothy Bolton Peek

Mrs. Dorothy Bolton Peek, age 97 of Centre, passed away on August 31, 2026, at Cherokee Village Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chip Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Noah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her sons, Roger (Glenda) Peek and Danny (Janice) Peek; grandchildren, Jason Peek, Jeremy (Andrea) Peek, Carrie (Mike) Dodd, JoJo (Leah) Odam, Kayla (Dustin) Blankenship, and Kendra (Jonathan) Carter; great grandchildren, Colton Peek, Arden Peek, Kinzlee Peek, Aubie (Preston) Justus, Preston Odam, Alex Odam, Hunter Richardson, Aloria Blankenship, and Oceana Blankenship; and brother-in-law, Dave Fischer.

Pallbearers will be Danny Walker, Don Pruitt, Troy Jolly, Tony Tierce, Jason Peek, and Jeremy Peek.

Mrs. Peek was a member of East Centre Baptist Church and the Hampton Hincy Sunday School Class. She was also involved in the Merry Makers Group and the Loving Hands Group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.L. Peek; son, Gary Peek; and daughter, Georgiann Peek Odam. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the East Centre Baptist Church Building Fund.
