Gerry Humphrey

Mr. Gerry Paul Humphrey, age 53 of Leesburg, passed away on June 9, 2026, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Union Community Church at Round Mountain. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

He is survived by his mom and dad, Kathy and Ralph Johnson; sister, Sherri (Kevin) Dunn; brothers, Kenny (Tamela) Humphrey, and Michael Humphrey; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special aunt and caretaker, Linda Abernathy.

He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Humphrey; grandparents, Edna Faye Humphrey, Ardis Humphrey, Pete and Kathleen Baker, and Dean Unck Humphrey.
