James Elton Decker

Mr. James Elton Decker, age 52 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on Thursday, November 13th, at Adventhealth Redmond.

A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, November 15th at Thrasher Cemetery, located at 133 Church Street, Sardis City, AL 35956., with Bro. Jason Hallmark officiating. Family will receive friends at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel from 10:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M.

Survivors include his son, James (Autumn) Elton Decker; Granddaughters, Hazley and Hensley Decker; Brother, William Keith Decker.

Pallbearers will be Trey Peek, Chase Altwell, Marty Jacobs, Donnie Murray, Joel Dobbins, and Hunter Williams.

Mr. Decker enjoyed playing horseshoes, watching sports (mainly Alabama Football), riding around, watching cop shows, old westerns, and loved sweets, even though he wasn't supposed to!

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Tammy Dickie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help cover the costs of his services.
