John Robinson

Mr. John Edd Robinson, age 80 of Centre, passed away on January 9, 2026, at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. (Alabama time) on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Long and Rev. Barry Rogers, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Old Providence Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

He is survived by his sons, Sheldon (Sherry) Robinson and Roy (Debbie) Robinson; daughter, Brenda (Hurman) Twilley; granddaughters, Dondra (Jason) Kelley and Jessica (Cody) Paschal; great granddaughters, Lexie and Sara Kate Kelley and Harper Paschal; 15 step grandchildren; brother-in-law, Hank (Shelia) Penny; several nieces and nephews; and special care givers, Jenna and Felicia Davidson, and Tyler Pence with Amedisys Hospice.

Pallbearers will be Jason Kelley, Cody Paschal, Brady Williams, Saul Valerio, Randy Robinson and Len Robinson. Honorary pallbearer will be Tyler Messer.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Robinson; sons, James Robinson and Johnny Robinson; grandson, Levi Robinson; several brothers and sisters; parents, Hoke and Annie Robinson; and son-in-law, Billy Joe Twilley.
