Joyce Ann Harrell

Mrs. Joyce Ann Harrell, age 73 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on January 2, 2026, at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her life partner, Ricky Harrell; daughter, Sondra Newman (Keith Newman); sons, Jason Harrell and James Harrell; brother, Billy Lea (Sandy Lea); grandchildren, Brittany Hardin (Billy Hardin), Michael Newman, Alexis Slayton (Austin Slayton), Kobe Harrell and Jolea Harrell; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Myrtle Lea; sister, Marie Richardson; and brother, Chris Lea.

Pallbearers will be Austin Slayton, Billy Hardin, Michael Newman, Kobe Harrell, Jason Harrell and James Harrell.
