Mrs. Kaitlyn Jade Thompson, age 25, passed away on September 13, 2026. Jade was born on March 23, 2001, in Rome, Georgia. She attended Armuchee High School and later graduated from Coosa High School.  

Jade will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her funny personality, and the love she had for her family and many friends. She had a way of making people laugh and was loved by so many. Above all, Jade loved being a mother. Her three young children and her husband were the center of her world, and the love she had for them was immeasurable. 

Jade is survived by her husband, Jun Thompson; children, Dexter, LJ, and Kinleigh; mother, Jessie Cantrell; father, Jonathan Cantrell; brothers, Trent and Trevor Cantrell; grandparents, Jan and Billy Covington, Tommy Smith, Sherri Johnson, and Andy Cantrell; great-grandmother, Betty Burke; great-grandfather, Spence Cantrell; mother-in-law, Karen Thompson; father-in-law, Jermaine Thompson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly. 

Jade's life was far too short, but the love she gave will live on through her children and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her laughter, her smile, and the joy she brought to those around her will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 

The family will be hosting a private funeral service.
