Nestor Rios

Mr. Nestor Rios, age 58 of Miami, FL, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Centre, AL. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026. The family will gather from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., then the public is invited to gather from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.

Survivors are his children, Andrea Rios, Aidan Rios, and Alexander Rios; Sisters, Jeanette Rios and Gloria Rios- both living in the US, and Ericka Rios of Nicaragua; nieces, Sandra Rivera, Sara Cardoza, Rebeca Davila, Cristian Davila, Axel Rivera, and a host of other family members. 

Nestor was a native of Nicaragua and proudly served for their military. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and cooking. He was a very noble and honest man. Mr. Rios was always there to serve others, and loved his children above all. He honored his parents until his very last day. Nestor will be remembered for his straightforward personality and strong character. Pride defined him and he needed time to reflect and acknowledge his mistakes. A man full of principles and lovingly complex.
