Robert L. Tucker

Mr. Robert Lester Tucker, age 86 of Rome, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 03, 2025 at Crowne Health Care in Fort Payne, AL.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM (CST) at Unity Cemetery in Cedar Bluff with Rev. Larry Black officiating.

Survivors include his sons, Daniel Tucker of Cartersville, GA, Tony (Kimberly) Tucker of Cave Spring, GA; Daughters, Jan (Mur) Cordle of Trion, GA, Lynn Smith of Rome, GA; Sister, Patty (Charles) Sizemore of Niceville, FL; 11 grandchildren; Several great and great great grandchildren.

Robert was born in Cherokee County to the late Carrol A. Tucker and Hazel Parker Tucker. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Tucker; Son, Robert L. Tucker, Jr.; Grandson, Justin Ray Haney; Brother, JT Tucker.
